3/4 pound butter
1 cup granulated sugar
2 egg yolks
3 cups all-purpose flour, sifted twice
1 teaspoon vanilla
Cinnamon sugar to roll in (1/4 c sugar to 4 tsp cinnamon)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cream butter. Add sugar by tablespoons. Add egg yolk one at a time. Add flour by tablespoons. Add vanilla. Form into small balls. If desired roll each ball to cover in cinnamon sugar. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. These cookies taste better a day or two old.
